10 For even when we were with you{}, this we commanded you{}, If any will not work, neither let him eat.
7 You{} husbands, in like manner, dwell with [your{} wives] according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint-heirs of the grace of life; to the end that your{} prayers not be hindered.
13 Watch{}, stand fast{} in the faith, be{} manly, be{} strong.
19 Husbands, love your{} wives, and do not be bitter against them.
23 whatever you{} do, work heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;
18 And don't be drunk with wine, in which is riot, but be filled with the Spirit;
4 And, you{} fathers, do not provoke your{} children to wrath: but nurture them in the chastening and admonition of the Lord.
19 For I have known him, to the end that he may command his sons and his household after him, that they may keep the way of Yahweh, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that Yahweh may bring on Abraham that which he has spoken of him.
2 The overseer therefore must be without reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, orderly, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 no brawler, no striker; but gentle, not contentious, no lover of money;
4 one who rules well his own house, having [his] children in subjection with all gravity;
25 Husbands, love your{} wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it;
8 But if any does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
