14 I know that, whatever God does, it will be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it; and God has done it, that men should fear before him.
11 Your word I have laid up in my heart, That I might not sin against you.
19 and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you{} may be filled to all the fullness of God.
3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
4 who would have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth.
20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation.
21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spoke from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit.
1 God, having of old time spoken to the fathers in the prophets by diverse portions and in diverse manners,
2 has at the end of these days spoken to us in [his] Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the ages;
3 who being the radiance of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high;
1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows his handiwork.
2 Day to day gushes out speech, And night to night shows knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language; Where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices as a strong man to run his course.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heavens, And his circuit to the ends of it; And there is nothing hid from its heat.
7 The law of Yahweh is perfect, restoring the soul: The testimony of Yahweh is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of Yahweh are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of Yahweh is pure, enlightening the eyes.
4 For whatever things were written previously were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the Scriptures we might have hope.
23 having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and stays.
24 For, All flesh is as grass, And all its glory as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls:
25 But the word of the Lord stays forever. And this is the word of good news which was preached to you{}.
14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw his glory, glory as an only begotten from a father, full of grace and truth.
8 But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach:
24 For, All flesh is as grass, And all its glory as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls:
25 But the word of the Lord stays forever. And this is the word of good news which was preached to you{}.
8 The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever.
17 So belief [comes] of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
18 But I say, Is it the case that they have not heard? On the contrary, Their sound went out into all the earth, And their words to the ends of the world.
6 The words of Yahweh are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, Purified seven times.
7 You will keep them, O Yahweh, You will preserve him from this generation forever.
6 And these words, which I command you this day, will be on your heart;
7 and you will teach them diligently to your sons, and will talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
8 And you will bind them for a sign on your hand, and they will be for frontlets between your eyes.
9 And you will write them on the door-posts of your house, and on your gates.
