17 And you{} will be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 And not a hair of your{} head will perish.
19 In your{} patience you{} win your{} souls.
17 A horse is a vain thing for safety; Neither does he deliver any by his great power.
18 Look, the eye of Yahweh is on those who fear him, On those who hope in his loving-kindness;
19 To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.
22 and whatever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you{}, and guard you{} from the evil [one].
17 There I will make the horn of David to bud: I have appointed a lamp for my anointed.
18 His enemies I will clothe with shame; But on himself will his crown flourish.
31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle; But victory is of Yahweh.
8 Yahweh will perfect that which concerns me: Your loving-kindness, O Yahweh, [endures] forever; Don't forsake the works of your own hands.
19 If you{} are willing and obedient, you{} will eat the good of the land:
20 but if you{} refuse and rebel, you{} will be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it.
6 Righteousness guards him who is upright in the way; But wickedness overthrows the sinner.
2 He only is my rock and my salvation: [He is] my high tower; I will not be greatly moved.
3 But you, O Yahweh, are a shield about me; My glory and the lifter up of my head.
18 Therefore you{} will do my statutes, and keep my ordinances and do them; and you{} will dwell in the land in safety.
9 Yahweh also will be a high tower for the oppressed, A high tower in times of trouble;
22 Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you: He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
11 For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield: Yahweh will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from those who walk uprightly.
8 and I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you; and I will make you a name, like the name of the great ones who are in the earth.
1 A Song of Ascents; of Solomon. If Yahweh does not build the house, They labor in vain that build it: If Yahweh does not keep the city, The watchman wakes but in vain.
10 The young lions lack, and suffer hunger; But those who seek Yahweh will not want any good thing.
11 Don't withhold your tender mercies from me, O Yahweh; Let your loving-kindness and your truth continually preserve me.
1 [A Psalm] of David. Blessed be Yahweh my rock, Who teaches my hands to war, [And] my fingers to fight:
2 My loving-kindness and my fortress, My high tower and my deliverer; My shield and he in whom I take refuge; Who subdues my people under me.
10 The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it, and is safe.
7 A thousand will fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; [But] it will not come near you.
15 I don't pray that you should take them from the world, but that you should keep them from the evil [one].
10 O you{} who love Yahweh, hate evil: He preserves the souls of his saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
18 We know that whoever is begotten of God does not sin; but he who was begotten of God keeps himself, and the evil one does not touch him.
8 It is better to take refuge in Yahweh Than to put confidence in man.
7 And when Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, Truly I say to you{}, I have found no one with such faith in Israel.
8 And Jesus said to the captain, Go your way; as you have believed, [so] be it done to you. And his [young] slave was healed in that hour.
16 You open your hand, And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
6 So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear: What will man do to me?
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you{} may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
11 And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we [are].
12 While I was with them, I kept them in your name which you have given me: and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, but the son of perdition; that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

11 But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice, Let them ever shout for joy, Because you defend them: Let them also that love your name be joyful in you.
12 For you will bless the righteous; O Yahweh, you will circle him with favor as with a shield.
10 You are he who gives salvation to kings; Who rescues David his slave from the hurtful sword.
14 Yahweh will fight for you{}, and you{} will hold your{} peace.
11 But the king will rejoice in God: Everyone who swears by him will glory; For the mouth of those who speak lies will be stopped.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.
8 Will man rob God? Yet you{} rob me. But you{} say, In what have we robbed you? In tithes and offerings.
9 You{} are cursed with the curse; for you{} rob me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring{} the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and prove me now herewith, says Yahweh of hosts, if I will not open for you{} the windows of heaven, and pour out a blessing for you{}, that there will not be room enough [to receive it].
27 The eternal God is [your] dwelling-place, And underneath are the everlasting arms. And he thrusts out the enemy from before you, And said, Destroy.
1 [A Psalm] of David. Yahweh is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
6 For Yahweh gives wisdom; Out of his mouth [comes] knowledge and understanding:
7 He lays up sound wisdom for the upright; [He is] a shield to those who walk in integrity;
8 That he may guard the paths of justice, And preserve the way of his saints.
7 For the king trusts in Yahweh; And through the loving-kindness of the Most High he will not be moved.
8 Your hand will find out all your enemies; Your right hand will find out those who hate you.
9 You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger: Yahweh will swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire will devour them.

30 As for God, his way is perfect: The word of Yahweh is tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
25 The righteous eats to the satisfying of his soul; But the belly of the wicked will want.
4 Sing to God, sing praises to his name: Cast up a highway for him who rides through the deserts; His name is Yah; and exult{} before him.
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation.

2 My help [comes] from Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved: He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Look, he who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 Yahweh is your keeper: Yahweh is your shade on your right hand.
6 The sun will not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.
7 Yahweh will keep you from all evil; He will keep your soul.
8 Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in From this time forth and forevermore.
22 Yahweh redeems the soul of his slaves; And none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
5 Every word of God is tried: He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
17 No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that will rise against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the slaves of Yahweh, and their righteousness which is of me, says Yahweh.

29 now therefore let it please you to bless the house of your slave, that it may continue forever before you; for you, O Sovereign Yahweh, have spoken it: and with your blessing let the house of your slave be blessed forever.
5 As birds hovering, so will Yahweh of hosts protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver [it], he will pass over and preserve [it].
17 learn to do well; seek justice, correct oppression, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
32 For who is God, but Yahweh? And who is a rock, but our God?
7 Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
8 In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep; For you, Yahweh, alone make me dwell in safety.
12 Of Benjamin he said, The beloved of Yahweh will stay in safety. The Most High covers him all the day long, And he stays between his shoulders.
4 He will cover you with his pinions, And under his wings you will take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler.
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
8 Blessed [are] you{} who weep now: for you{} will laugh.
3 Trust in Yahweh, and do good; Stay in the land, and pasture on faithfulness.
1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. Yahweh, how are my adversaries increased! Many are those who rise up against me.
2 Many there are that say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But you, O Yahweh, are a shield about me; My glory and the lifter up of my head.
4 I cry to Yahweh with my voice, And he answers me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid myself down and slept; I awakened; For Yahweh sustains me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of the people That have set themselves against me round about.
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, Even the God who is our salvation. Selah.
26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there will be showers of blessing.

3 You will keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] sustained [by you]; because he trusts in you.

35 You have also given me the shield of your salvation; And your right hand has held me up, And your response made me great.
36 You have enlarged my steps under me, And my feet have not slipped.
6 Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became slaves to David, and brought tribute. And Yahweh gave victory to David wherever he went.
14 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us:
15 and if we know that he hears us whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread.
19 And my God will supply every need of yours{} according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
6 Yahweh is on my side; I will not fear: What can man do to me?

7 Show your marvelous loving-kindness, O you who save by your right hand those who take refuge [in you] From those who rise up [against them].
8 Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me under the shadow of your wings,
9 From the wicked that oppress me, My deadly enemies, who circle me about.
7 Who executes justice for the oppressed; Who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh looses the prisoners;
8 Yahweh opens [the eyes of] the blind; Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down; Yahweh loves the righteous;
9 Yahweh preserves the sojourners; He upholds the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

2 Send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion;
26 For Yahweh will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being taken.
20 Oh keep my soul, and deliver me: Don't let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for you.
6 Yahweh preserves the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me.
7 Return to your rest, O my soul; For Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you.
8 For you have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, [And] my feet from falling.
9 I will walk before Yahweh In the land of the living.
8 In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep; For you, Yahweh, alone make me dwell in safety.
7 Surely the Sovereign Yahweh will do nothing, except he reveals his secret to his slaves the prophets.
114 You are my hiding-place and my shield: I hope in your word.
9 He who walks uprightly walks surely; But he who perverts his ways will be known.
12 A prudent man sees the evil, [and] hides himself; [But] the simple pass on, [and] suffer for it.
35 And he said to them, When I sent you{} forth without wallet, and bag, and sandals, did you{} lack anything? And they said, Nothing.
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Will reside under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.
12 For wisdom is a defense, even as money is a defense; but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom preserves the life of him who has it.
14 Even so the Lord directed that those who proclaim the good news should live of the good news.
26 In the fear of Yahweh is strong confidence; And his sons will have a place of refuge.
22 And he called ten slaves of his, and gave them 10,000, and said to them, Trade{} until I come.
7 The angel of Yahweh encamps round about those who fear him, And delivers them.
20 Our soul has waited for Yahweh: He is our help and our shield.
11 And I will establish my covenant with you{}; neither will all flesh be cut off anymore by the waters of the flood; neither will there anymore be a flood to destroy the earth.
7 You are my hiding-place; you will preserve me from trouble; You will circle me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
16 But I will sing of your strength; Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving-kindness in the morning: For you have been my high tower, And a refuge in the day of my distress.
13 I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
6 so then let us not sleep, as do the rest, but let us watch and be sober.
25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and every sorrowful soul I have replenished.
11 And Jesus answered and said to them, Go and tell John the things which you{} hear and see:

29 And when the men of that place knew him, they sent into all around that region, and brought to him all who were sick,
30 and they implored him that they might only touch the border of his garment: and as many as touched were made whole.
6 Be strong and of good courage, don't fear, nor be afraid of them: for Yahweh your God, it is he who goes with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.
10 I am Yahweh your God, Who brought you up out of the land of Egypt: Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
9 For you, O Yahweh, are my refuge! You have made the Most High your habitation;
10 No evil will befall you, Neither will any plague come near your tent.
4 and even to old age, I am he, and even to hoar hairs I will carry [you{}]; I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry, and will deliver.
7 Be subject therefore to God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you{}.
8 I have set Yahweh always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I will not be moved.
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us?
