8 Be sober, be watchful: your{} adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour,
9 whom withstand steadfast in your{} faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your{} brothers who are in the world.
1 And he called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.
19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal:
19 So they will fear the name of Yahweh from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the breath of Yahweh drives.
33 But he turning about, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and says, Get behind me, Satan; for you do not mind the things of God, but the things of men.
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you{} may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds, casting down imaginations,
5 and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;
19 Look, I have given you{} authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing will in any wise hurt you{}.

27 neither give place to the devil.
17 And the seventy-two returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name.
8 he who does sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. To this end was the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
