1 A Song of Ascents. When Yahweh brought back those who returned to Zion, We were like those who dream.
26 The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen, and its interpretation?
27 Daniel answered before the king, and said, The secret which the king has demanded can neither wise men, psychics, sacred scholars, nor astrologers, show to the king;
28 but there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets, and he has made known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head on your bed, are these:
32 Look, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says Yahweh, and tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting: yet I did not send them, nor command them; neither do they profit this people at all, says Yahweh.
28 And it will come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your{} sons and your{} daughters will prophesy, your{} old men will dream dreams, your{} young men will see visions:
3 For a dream comes with a multitude of business, and a fool's voice with a multitude of words.
1 If there arise in the midst of you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder,
2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, Let us go after other gods, which you haven't known, and let us serve them;
3 you will not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams: for Yahweh your{} God proves you{}, to know whether you{} love Yahweh your{} God with all your{} heart and with all your{} soul.
4 You{} will walk after Yahweh your{} God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and you{} will serve him, and stick to him.
6 And he said, Now hear my words: if there is a prophet among you{}, I Yahweh will make myself known to him in a vision, I will speak with him in a dream.
8 And they said to him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is none who can interpret it. And Joseph said to them, Don't interpretations belong to God? Tell it to me, I pray you{}.
25 I have heard what the prophets have said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
26 How long will this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?
3 Commit your works to Yahweh, And your purposes will be established.
19 And when they had mocked him, they took off from him the robe, and put on him his garments, and led him away to crucify him.
7 For in the multitude of dreams there are vanities, and in many words: but fear God.
17 Now as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
15 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none who can interpret it: and I have heard it said of you, that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.
16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spoke forth to them, [saying], Men, Jews, and all you{} who dwell at Jerusalem, let this be known to you{}, and give ear to my words.
15 For these are not drunk, as you{} suppose; seeing it is [but] the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which has been spoken through the prophet Joel:
17 And it will be in the last days, says God, I will pour out from my Spirit on all flesh: And your{} sons and your{} daughters will prophesy, And your{} young men will see visions, And your{} old men will dream dreams:
21 There are many devices in a man's heart; But the counsel of Yahweh, that will stand.
