1 [A Psalm] of David. Yahweh is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
6 Yahweh is on my side; I will not fear: What can man do to me?
2 When evildoers came upon me to eat up my flesh, [Even] my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though a host should encamp against me, My heart will not fear: Though war should rise against me, Even then I will be confident.
6 And you, Son of Man, don't be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you dwell among scorpions: don't be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
3 When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.
4 In God (I will praise his word) In God I have put my trust, I will not be afraid; What can flesh do to me?
6 So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear: What will man do to me?
4 And I say to you{} my friends, Don't be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 But I will warn you{} whom you{} will fear: Fear him, who after he has killed has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you{}, Fear him.
22 You{} will not fear them; for Yahweh your{} God, it is he who fights for you{}.
28 And when they had crossed over, they came to the land, to Gennesaret.
