10 For even when we were with you{}, this we commanded you{}, If any will not work, neither let him eat.
11 For we hear of some that walk among you{} disorderly, that don't work at all, but are busybodies.
12 Now those who are such we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness, and eat their own bread.
31 Whether therefore you{} eat, or drink, or whatever you{} do, do all to the glory of God.
23 whatever you{} do, work heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard; Consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having no chief, Overseer, or ruler,
8 Provides her bread in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest.
9 How long will you sleep, O sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep?
10 [Yet] a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep:
11 So will your poverty come as a robber, And your want as an armed man.
17 And whatever you{} do, in word or in deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
14 Let all that you{} do be done in love.
4 He becomes poor that works with a slack hand; But the hand of the diligent makes rich.
24 The hand of the diligent will bear rule; But the slothful will be put under slave labor.
3 Commit your works to Yahweh, And your purposes will be established.
19 All among man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor--this is the gift of God.
9 He also who is slack in his work Is brother to him who is a destroyer.
23 In all labor there is profit; But the talk of the lips [tends] only to poverty.
12 Truly, truly, I say to you{}, he who believes on me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater [works] than these he will do; because I go to the Father.
24 The hand of the diligent will bear rule; But the slothful will be put under slave labor.
12 I know that there is nothing better for them, than to rejoice, and to do good so long as they live.
13 And also that all of man should eat and drink, and enjoy good in all his labor, is the gift of God.
14 Do all things without murmurings and questionings:
15 that you{} may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you{} are seen as lights in the world,
3 Commit your works to Yahweh, And your purposes will be established.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you{}; that you{}, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work:
9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
13 Don't love sleep, or else you will come to poverty; Open your eyes, [and] you will be satisfied with bread.
9 There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
11 and that you{} make it your aim to be quiet, and to participate in your{} own [things], and to work with your{} own hands, even as we charged you{};
12 that you{} may walk becomingly toward those who are outside, and may have need of nothing.
18 Look, that which I have seen to be good and to be beautiful is for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy good in all his labor, in which he labors under the sun, all the days of his life which God has given him: for this is his portion.
58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be{} steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since you{} know that your{} labor is not vain in the Lord.
24 But I don't hold my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may accomplish my course, and the service which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the good news of the grace of God.
26 Be{} merciful, even as your{} Father is merciful.
15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed worker, correctly handling the word of truth.
22 The blessing of Yahweh, it makes rich; And he adds no sorrow with it.
23 whatever you{} do, work heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;
24 knowing that from the Lord you{} will receive the recompense of the inheritance: you{} serve as slaves to the Lord Christ.
8 Look to yourselves, that you{} don't lose the things which we have worked for, but that you{} receive a full reward.
16 All Scripture [is] inspired of God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness:
17 that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely to every good work.
13 And who is he that will harm you{}, if you{} are zealous of that which is good?
11 Wealth gotten by vanity will be diminished; But he who gathers by labor will have increase.
8 There is one who is alone, and he has not a second; yes, he has neither son nor brother; yet is there no end of all his labor, neither are his eyes satisfied with riches. For whom then, [he says], do I labor, and deprive my soul of good? This also is vanity, yes, it is an intense travail.
4 Then I saw all labor and every skillful work, that for this a man is envied of his fellow man. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.
7 with good will serving as slaves, as to the Lord, and not to men:
8 knowing that whatever good thing each one does, the same he will receive again from the Lord, whether slave or free.
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do [it] with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you go.
17 And let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; And establish the work of our hands on us; Yes, the work of our hands establish it.
28 Let him who stole steal no more: and even better, let him labor, working with his own hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.
15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed worker, correctly handling the word of truth.
