1 I urge you{} therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your{} bodies, a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your{} spiritual service.
2 And don't be fashioned according to this age: but be transformed by the renewing of your{} mind, that you{} may prove what the will of God is--that [which is] good and acceptable and perfect.
36 If therefore the Son will make you{} free, you{} will be free indeed.
13 He who covers his transgressions will not prosper: But whoever confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
31 Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If you{} stay in my word, [then] you{} are truly my disciples;
32 and you{} will know the truth, and the truth will make you{} free.
13 And Jesus withdrew from there: and great multitudes from Galilee and Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and [from] beyond the Jordan followed him.
11 For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, to me every knee will bow, And every tongue will confess to God.
12 So then each of us will give account of himself to God.
13 Woe [to you{}], you{} who laugh now! For you{} will mourn and weep.
1 For freedom Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and don't be entangled again in a yoke of slavery.
12 All things are lawful for me; but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me; but I will not be brought under the power of any.
18 And don't be drunk with wine, in which is riot, but be filled with the Spirit;
21 envyings, drunkenness, revelings, and things similar to these; of which I forewarn you{}, even as I did forewarn you{}, that those who participate in such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
23 meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.
36 If therefore the Son will make you{} free, you{} will be free indeed.
13 No trial has taken you{} but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not allow you{} to be tried above what you{} are able; but will with the trial also make the way of escape, that you{} may be able to endure it.
2 that you{} no longer should live the rest of your{} time in the flesh to the desires of men, but to the will of God.
3 For the time past may suffice to have worked the desire of the Gentiles, and to have walked in sexual immorality, erotic desires, winebibbings, revelings, carousings, and horrible idolatries:
4 in which they think it strange that you{} do not run with [them] into the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you{}]:
5 who will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 For to this end was the good news preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
7 But the end of all things is at hand: be{} therefore of sound mind, and be sober to prayer:
3 Knowing that the proving of your{} faith works patience.
9 Or don't you{} know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don't be deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you{}: but you{} were washed, but you{} were sanctified, but you{} were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
16 For all that is in the world, the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler; And whoever errs by it is not wise.
11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,
12 instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present age;
11 Even so reckon{} also yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
12 Don't let sin therefore reign in your{} mortal body, that you{} should obey its desires:
13 neither present your{} members to sin [as] instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your{} members [as] instruments of righteousness to God.
7 Be subject therefore to God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you{}.
34 Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you{}, Everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.
23 Be no longer a drinker of water, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your often infirmities.
13 No trial has taken you{} but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not allow you{} to be tried above what you{} are able; but will with the trial also make the way of escape, that you{} may be able to endure it.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
12 All things are lawful for me; but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me; but I will not be brought under the power of any.
19 Or don't you{} know that your{} body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you{}, which you{} have from God? And you{} are not your{} own;
5 For if we have become united with [him] in the likeness of his death, we will be also [in the likeness] of his resurrection;
6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be done away, it no longer to serve us as slaves to sin;
