21 Und du ersehe aus dem ganzen Volke tüchtige Männer, die Gott fürchten, zuverlässige Männer, die Gewinnsucht hassen, und setze sie über sie, als Obere über tausend, als Obere über hundert, als Obere über fünfzig, und als Obere über zehn.

22 Die sollen das Volk richten alle Zeit; und es soll geschehen, alle großen Sachen sollen sie vor dich bringen; und alle kleinen Sachen sollen sie richten. So erleichterst du dir's, wenn sie mit dir tragen.

21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens: 22 and let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge themselves: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.
