16 Und Jehova Gott gebot dem Menschen und sprach: Wohl magst du von allen Bäumen des Gartens essen;

17 doch von dem Baume der Erkenntniß des Guten und des Bösen - von diesem sollst du nicht essen; denn an welchem Tage du von ihm issest, wirst du des Todes sterben.

16 And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
