7 Dann brachte Joseph Jakob, seinen Vater, und stellte ihn Pharao vor, und Jakob segnete Pharao.

8 Und Pharao sprach zu Jakob: Wie viel sind die Tage deiner Lebensjahre?

9 Und Jakob sprach zu Pharao: Die Tage der Jahre meiner Pilgerschaft sind hundert dreißig Jahre, wenig und böse sind die Tage meiner Lebensjahre, sie reichen nicht an die Tage der Lebensjahre meiner Väter, in den Tagen ihrer Pilgerschaft.

10 Und Jakob segnete Pharao, und ging hinaus von Pharao.

11 Und Joseph ließ seinen Vater und seine Brüder Wohnsitze nehmen, und gab ihnen ein Eigenthum im Lande Aegypten, am besten Platze des Landes, im Lande Rameses, wie Pharao geboten hatte.

12 Und Joseph versorgte seinen Vater, und seine Brüder, und das ganze Haus seines Vaters mit Brod nach der Zahl der Kinder.

7 And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and Jacob blessed Pharaoh. 8 And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How many are the days of the years of thy life? 9 And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty years: few and evil have been the days of the years of my life, and they have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage. 10 And Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from the presence of Pharaoh. 11 And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded. 12 And Joseph nourished his father, and his brethren, and all his father’s household, with bread, according to their families.
