1 Gesang David's. Jehova's ist die Erde, und was sie füllt; der Erdkreis, und die darauf wohnen.

2 Denn er hat auf Meere sie gegründet, und auf Fluthen sie befestigt.

3 Wer darf besteigen den Berg Jehova's; und wer stehen an seiner heiligen Stätte?

4 Wer schuldloser Hände, und reines Herzens ist, wer nicht sein Herz an Eitles hängt, noch zum Truge schwört.

5 Der empfängt Segen von Jehova, und Huld vom Gott seines Heils.

6 Dieß ist das Geschlecht derer, die nach ihm fragen, dein Angesicht suchen, das von Jakob. Sela.

7 Erhebet, ihr Thore! eure Häupter; erhebet euch, ihr ewigen Pforten! daß einziehe der König der Herrlichkeit.

8 Wer ist dieser König der Herrlichkeit? Jehova, der Mächtige und Starke, Jehova, der Starke im Kriege.
