4 Die Stimme Jehova's ist gewaltig, die Stimme Jehova's ist majestätisch.

5 Die Stimme Jehova's zerschmettert Cedern; ja, Jehova zerschmettert die Cedern des Libanon.

6 Er läßt sie springen wie Kälber; den Libanon und Sirjon wie junge Büffel.

7 Die Stimme Jehova's sprühet Feuerflammen.

8 Die Stimme Jehova's erschüttert die Wüste; Jehova erschüttert die Wüste Kades.

9 Die Stimme Jehova's macht die Hirschkuh gebären, entblättert Wälder; und in seinem Tempel spricht Alles Ruhm!

10 Jehova thront über Wasserfluth; ja, es thront Jehova als König ewig!

11 Jehova gibt Ruhm seinem Volke, Jehova segnet sein Volk mit Frieden!

The God of glory thundereth,

6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf;

7 The voice of Jehovah cleaveth the flames of fire.

8 The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness;

Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve,

And strippeth the forests bare:

And in his temple everything saith, Glory.

10 Jehovah sat as King at the Flood;

Yea, Jehovah sitteth as King for ever.

11 Jehovah will give strength unto his people;

Jehovah will bless his people with peace.
