3 Among whom also we all had our manner of life in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath made us alive together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity will cover a multitude of sins.
27 But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to them who hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them who despitefully use you.
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ:
16 By this we perceive the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet perhaps for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
17 A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
3 The LORD appeared of old to me, saying, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee.
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
26 O give thanks to the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
9 In this was manifested the love of God towards us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
8 But God commendeth his love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior towards man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
5 \36:4\He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thy enemy:
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father who is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them who love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
