1 Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

2 \18:1\To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said, I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
3 \18:2\The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
29 The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
26 In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
7 \36:6\Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.
17 \59:16\But I will sing of thy power; yes, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble.
1 A prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling-place in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

2 \31:1\To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
3 \31:2\Bow down thy ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for a house of defense to save me.
4 \31:3\For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
5 \31:4\Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
4 For thou hast been a defense to the poor, a defense to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
5 \62:4\They only consult to cast him down from his excellence: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
6 \62:5\My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
7 \62:6\He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved.
8 \62:7\In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
9 \9:8\And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
10 \9:9\The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
3 Be thou my strong habitation, to which I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
