Humildade

8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another; love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honor is humility.

14 If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

8 He hath shown thee, O man, what is good; and what the LORD doth require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

18 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

4 By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honor, and life.

12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering;

35 And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith to them, If any man desireth to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

13 For, brethren, ye have been called to liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

48 And said to them, Whoever shall receive this child in my name, receiveth me; and whoever shall receive me, receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.

33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom: and before honor is humility.

8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

20 Now to God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

2 Therefore, when thou doest thy alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do, in the synagogues, and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Verily, I say to you, they have their reward.

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing gold, or of putting on apparel;

4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will lift you up.

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show by a good deportment his works with meekness of wisdom.

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are:

29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me: for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest to your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

16 Be of the same mind one towards another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
