5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage.
7 They go from strength to strength.
Every one of them appears before God in Zion.
8 Yahweh himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged."
47 and that all this assembly may know that Yahweh doesn’t save with sword and spear; for the battle is Yahweh’s, and he will give you into our hand."
8 It is better to take refuge in Yahweh,
than to put confidence in man.
1 When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses, chariots, and a people more numerous than you, you shall not be afraid of them; for Yahweh your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, is with you.
5 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.

5 My steps have held fast to your paths.
My feet have not slipped.
5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
10 One man of you shall chase a thousand; for it is Yahweh your God who fights for you, as he spoke to you.
5 My soul, wait in silence for God alone,
for my expectation is from him.
7 He will not be afraid of evil news.
His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh.
8 His heart is established.
He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.
7 "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or dismayed because of the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude who is with him; for there is a greater one with us than with him. 8 An arm of flesh is with him, but Yahweh our God is with us to help us and to fight our battles." The people rested themselves on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
1 Judge me, Yahweh, for I have walked in my integrity.
I have trusted also in Yahweh without wavering.
13 Moses said to the people, "Don’t be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of Yahweh, which he will work for you today; for you will never again see the Egyptians whom you have seen today. 14 Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still."
11 Give us help against the adversary,
for the help of man is vain.
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.
8 Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning,
for I trust in you.
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
for I lift up my soul to you.
9 He will keep the feet of his holy ones,
but the wicked will be put to silence in darkness;
for no man will prevail by strength.
6 Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, "Come! Let’s go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised. It may be that Yahweh will work for us, for there is no restraint on Yahweh to save by many or by few."
