1 After these things I looked and saw a door opened in heaven; and the first voice that I heard, like a trumpet speaking with me, was one saying, "Come up here, and I will show you the things which must happen after this."

2 Immediately I was in the Spirit. Behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne 3 that looked like a jasper stone and a sardius. There was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald to look at. 4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones. On the thrones were twenty-four elders sitting, dressed in white garments, with crowns of gold on their heads. 5 Out of the throne proceed lightnings, sounds, and thunders. There were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. 6 Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the middle of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. 7 The first creature was like a lion, the second creature like a calf, the third creature had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8 The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!"

9 When the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever, and throw their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the Holy One, to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed and were created!"

1 这些事以后， 我观看， 见天上有一道门开着； 并且有我第一次听见的那个好像号筒的声音， 对我说： "你上这里来！ 我要把以后必定发生的事指示你。"

2 立刻， 我在灵里， 就看见有一个宝座， 设立在天上， 有一位坐在宝座上。

3 那位坐着的， 看来好像碧玉和红宝石， 又有彩虹围绕着宝座， 看来好像绿宝石。

4 宝座的周围有二十四个座位， 上面坐着二十四位长老， 身穿白衣， 头戴金冠。

5 有闪电、响声、雷轰从宝座中发出； 又有七枝火炬在宝座前点着， 这就是 神的七灵。

6 宝座前有一个看来好像水晶的玻璃海。在宝座中间和宝座周围有四个活物， 前后布满了眼睛。

7 第一个活物像狮子， 第二个活物像牛犊， 第三个活物的脸面像人， 第四个活物像飞鹰。

8 四个活物各有六个翅膀， 里外布满了眼睛。他们昼夜不停地说： "圣哉！ 圣哉！ 圣哉！ 主、全能的 神， 昔在、今在、以后永在的那一位。"

9 每逢四个活物把荣耀、尊贵、感谢献给那坐在宝座上， 活到永永远远的那一位的时候，

10 二十四位长老就俯伏在坐在宝座上那一位的面前， 敬拜那活到永永远远的， 又把他们的冠冕放在宝座前， 说：

11 "主、我们的 神， 你是配得荣耀、尊贵、权能的， 因为你创造了万有， 万有都是因着你的旨意而存在， 而被造的。"
