1 The righteous perish,
and no one lays it to heart.
Merciful men are taken away,
and no one considers that the righteous is taken away from the evil.
2 He enters into peace.
They rest in their beds,
each one who walks in his uprightness.
3 "But draw near here, you sons of a sorceress,
you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes.
4 Whom do you mock?
Against whom do you make a wide mouth
and stick out your tongue?
Aren’t you children of disobedience
and offspring of falsehood,
5 you who inflame yourselves among the oaks,
under every green tree;
who kill the children in the valleys,
under the clefts of the rocks?
6 Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion.
They, they are your lot.
You have even poured a drink offering to them.
You have offered an offering.
Shall I be appeased for these things?
7 On a high and lofty mountain you have set your bed.
You also went up there to offer sacrifice.
8 You have set up your memorial behind the doors and the posts,
for you have exposed yourself to someone besides me,
and have gone up.
You have enlarged your bed
and made you a covenant with them.
You loved what you saw on their bed.
9 You went to the king with oil,
increased your perfumes,
sent your ambassadors far off,
and degraded yourself even to Sheol.
10 You were wearied with the length of your ways;
yet you didn’t say, ‘It is in vain.’
You found a reviving of your strength;
therefore you weren’t faint.
11 "Whom have you dreaded and feared,
so that you lie,
and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart?
Haven’t I held my peace for a long time,
and you don’t fear me?
12 I will declare your righteousness;
and as for your works, they will not benefit you.
13 When you cry,
let those whom you have gathered deliver you,
but the wind will take them.
A breath will carry them all away,
but he who takes refuge in me will possess the land,
and will inherit my holy mountain."
14 He will say, "Build up, build up, prepare the way!
Remove the stumbling-block out of the way of my people."
15 For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity,
whose name is Holy, says:
"I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite.
16 For I will not contend forever, neither will I always be angry;
for the spirit would faint before me,
and the souls whom I have made.
17 I was angry because of the iniquity of his covetousness and struck him.
I hid myself and was angry;
and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.
18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him.
I will lead him also,
and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.
19 I create the fruit of the lips:
Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near,"
says Yahweh; "and I will heal them."
20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea;
for it can’t rest and its waters cast up mire and mud.
21 "There is no peace", says my God,
"for the wicked."
1 义人死亡， 没有人放在心上； 虔诚人去世， 也没有人明白； 义人去世， 是脱离了祸患。
2 行事为人正直的， 死后必得进入平安， 在他们的坟墓里享安息。
3 但你们这些巫妇的儿子， 奸夫和妓女的后裔啊！ 你们都走近这里行奸淫吧！
4 你们戏弄谁呢？你们张大嘴巴， 伸长舌头戏弄谁呢？你们不是悖逆的孩子吗？不是虚谎的后裔吗？
5 你们在橡树林中， 在青翠树下欲火焚心； 在山谷间， 在岩穴里， 宰杀自己的孩子作祭牲。
6 在山谷中光滑的石头里有你的分； 只有它们是你所要得的分！ 你也向它们浇了奠祭， 献上了供物。这些事我岂能容忍不报复呢？
7 你在高高的山上安设你的床榻， 又上到那里去献祭。
8 你在门后， 在门框后， 安设了外族神的记号； 你远离了我， 裸露了自己， 就上床去， 又扩张你的床， 你也与他们立约； 你爱他们的床， 看他们的下体（"下体"原文作"手"）。
9 你带着油走到君王那里， 并且加多了你的香料， 差派使者到远方去， 你甚至自己下到阴间去！
10 你因路途遥远而困乏， 却不说： "没有希望了！ "因为你找着了生命的力量， 所以你不觉得疲倦。
11 你怕谁？你因谁而惧怕， 以致你对我说谎呢？你不记念我， 也不把我放在心上， 是不是因为我长久缄默， 你就不惧怕我呢？
12 我要说明你的公义和你所作的， 但它们都必与你无益。
13 你呼求的时候， 让你所收集的偶像拯救你吧！ 但一阵风要把它们全都刮走， 一口气要把它们全部吹去。然而那投靠我的， 必承受地土， 得着我的圣山作产业。
14 必有人说： "你们要填高， 要填高， 要修平道路； 把障碍物从我子民的路上除掉。"
15 因为那至高无上、永远存在、他名为圣的这样说： "虽然我住在至高至圣的地方， 却与心灵痛悔和谦卑的人同在， 要使谦卑人的灵苏醒， 也使痛悔人的心苏醒。
16 我必不永远争辩， 也不长久发怒， 因为这样， 人的灵， 就是我所造的人， 在我面前就要发昏。
17 因他贪婪的罪孽， 我发怒了； 我击打他， 向他掩面， 并且发怒， 他仍然随着自己的心意背道。
18 他的道路， 我看见了， 我却要医治他， 引导他， 把安慰赏赐他和他的哀悼者。
19 我创造嘴唇的果子： 平安， 平安， 归给远处的人， 也归给近处的人。"耶和华说： "我要医治他。"
20 恶人却像翻腾的海， 不能平静， 海中的水不住翻起污秽和淤泥来。
21 我的 神说： "恶人必没有平安。"
