1 The word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying, 2 "Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, ‘Write all the words that I have spoken to you in a book. 3 For, behold, the days come,’ says Yahweh, ‘that I will reverse the captivity of my people Israel and Judah,’ says Yahweh. ‘I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they will possess it.’"
4 These are the words that Yahweh spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah. 5 For Yahweh says:
"We have heard a voice of trembling;
a voice of fear, and not of peace.
6 Ask now, and see whether a man travails with child.
Why do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail,
and all faces are turned pale?
7 Alas, for that day is great, so that none is like it!
It is even the time of Jacob’s trouble;
but he will be saved out of it.
8 It will come to pass in that day, says Yahweh of Armies, that I will break his yoke from off your neck,
and will burst your bonds.
Strangers will no more make them their bondservants;
9 but they will serve Yahweh their God,
and David their king,
whom I will raise up to them.
10 Therefore don’t be afraid, O Jacob my servant, says Yahweh.
Don’t be dismayed, Israel.
For, behold, I will save you from afar,
and save your offspring from the land of their captivity.
Jacob will return,
and will be quiet and at ease.
No one will make him afraid.
11 For I am with you, says Yahweh, to save you;
for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you,
but I will not make a full end of you;
but I will correct you in measure,
and will in no way leave you unpunished."
12 For Yahweh says,
"Your hurt is incurable.
Your wound is grievous.
13 There is no one to plead your cause,
that you may be bound up.
You have no healing medicines.
14 All your lovers have forgotten you.
They don’t seek you.
For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy,
with the chastisement of a cruel one,
for the greatness of your iniquity,
because your sins were increased.
15 Why do you cry over your injury?
Your pain is incurable.
For the greatness of your iniquity,
because your sins have increased,
I have done these things to you.
16 Therefore all those who devour you will be devoured.
All your adversaries, everyone of them, will go into captivity.
Those who plunder you will be plunder.
I will make all who prey on you become prey.
17 For I will restore health to you,
and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh,
"because they have called you an outcast,
saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’"
18 Yahweh says:
"Behold, I will reverse the captivity of Jacob’s tents,
and have compassion on his dwelling places.
The city will be built on its own hill,
and the palace will be inhabited in its own place.
19 Thanksgiving will proceed out of them
with the voice of those who make merry.
I will multiply them,
and they will not be few;
I will also glorify them,
and they will not be small.
20 Their children also will be as before,
and their congregation will be established before me.
I will punish all who oppress them.
21 Their prince will be one of them,
and their ruler will proceed from among them.
I will cause him to draw near,
and he will approach me;
for who is he who has had boldness to approach me?" says Yahweh.
22 "You shall be my people,
and I will be your God.
23 Behold, Yahweh’s storm, his wrath, has gone out,
a sweeping storm;
it will burst on the head of the wicked.
24 The fierce anger of Yahweh will not return until he has accomplished,
and until he has performed the intentions of his heart.
In the latter days you will understand it."
1 耶和华有话临到耶利米， 说：
2 "耶和华以色列的 神这样说： ‘你要把我对你说过的一切话都写在书上。
3 看哪！ 日子快到（这是耶和华的宣告）， 我必使我的子民以色列和犹大被掳的人归回。’耶和华说： ‘我必使他们回到我赐给他们列祖之地， 他们要重得这地为业。’"
4 以下是耶和华论到以色列和犹大所说的话：
5 "耶和华这样说： ‘我听见了战栗喊叫的声音， 一片恐慌， 没有平安。
6 你们去问问， 去看看： 男人会生孩子吗？为什么我看见所有的壮汉， 都用手抱着腹部， 像正在生产的妇人， 每张脸都变成苍白呢？
7 哀哉！ 那日大而可畏， 无可比拟； 这是雅各受苦的时期， 但他必被救出来。’"
8 "万军之耶和华宣告说： ‘当那日， 我必从他们（"他们"按照《马索拉抄本》应作"你"； 现参照《七十士译本》翻译）的颈项上折断仇敌的轭， 扯断他们（"他们"按照《马索拉抄本》应作"你"； 现参照《七十士译本》翻译）的绳套； 他们必不再作外族人的奴隶。
9 他们却要事奉耶和华他们的 神， 和我为他们兴起的大卫王。
10 所以， 我的仆人雅各啊！ 你不要惧怕。’这是耶和华的宣告。’以色列啊！ 你不要惊慌。因为我必拯救你从远方回来， 必拯救你的后裔脱离他们被掳之地。雅各必归回， 得享平静安逸， 没有人可以使他害怕。
11 因为我与你同在， 要拯救你； 我要消灭我赶散你去的列国， 却必不消灭你。我要按公正惩治你， 决不能免你受罚。’"这是耶和华的宣告。
12 "耶和华这样说： ‘你的损伤无法痊愈， 你的创伤不能医治。
13 没有人为你申诉， 你的伤处无药可救， 你不得医治。
14 你所有的盟友都忘记了你， 不再关心你； 我击打了你， 好像仇敌击打你， 又好像残暴的人惩罚你一样； 都因你的罪孽甚多， 你的罪恶无数。
15 你为什么因你的损伤哀叫呢？你的病痛无法痊愈。我这样对你， 是因你的罪孽甚多， 你的罪恶无数。
16 但是， 吞吃你的， 必被吞吃； 你所有的敌人全都要被掳走； 抢掠你的， 必成为被抢掠之物； 掠夺你的， 我必使他们成为被掠夺之物。
17 虽然人都说你是被放逐的， 是没有人关心的锡安； 我却必使你康复， 医治你的创伤。’"这是耶和华的宣告。
18 "耶和华这样说： ‘看哪！ 我必复兴雅各的帐棚， 也必怜悯他的居所； 城市必在废墟上重建， 堡垒必立在原来的地点上。
19 必有感谢的歌声， 和欢笑的声音从其中发出来。我必使他们人数增多， 不会减少； 我必使他们得尊荣， 不再被人轻看。
20 他们的子孙必像以前一样蒙恩， 他们的国家必在我面前坚立； 我必惩罚所有压迫他们的人。
21 他们的元首必是他们自己的人， 他们的统治者必出自他们中间； 我必使他近前来， 他也必亲近我， 不然， 谁敢冒生命的危险来亲近我呢？’这是耶和华的宣告。
22 ‘你们要作我的子民， 我要作你们的 神。’"
23 看哪！ 耶和华的旋风， 在震怒中发出， 是横扫的狂风， 必卷到恶人的头上。
24 耶和华的烈怒必不转消， 直到他作成和实现他心中的计划。在末后的日子， 你们就会明白这事。
