1 After the plague, Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying, 2 "Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers’ houses, all who are able to go out to war in Israel." 3 Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying, 4 "Take a census, from twenty years old and upward, as Yahweh commanded Moses and the children of Israel."
These are those who came out of the land of Egypt. 5 Reuben, the firstborn of Israel; the sons of Reuben: of Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites; 6 of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites. 7 These are the families of the Reubenites; and those who were counted of them were forty-three thousand seven hundred thirty. 8 The son of Pallu: Eliab. 9 The sons of Eliab: Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. These are that Dathan and Abiram who were called by the congregation, who rebelled against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah when they rebelled against Yahweh; 10 and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah when that company died; at the time the fire devoured two hundred fifty men, and they became a sign. 11 Notwithstanding, the sons of Korah didn’t die. 12 The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites; of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites; 13 of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites. 14 These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty-two thousand two hundred. 15 The sons of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites; 16 of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites; 17 of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites. 18 These are the families of the sons of Gad according to those who were counted of them, forty thousand and five hundred. 19 The sons of Judah: Er and Onan. Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. 20 The sons of Judah after their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Perez, the family of the Perezites; of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites. 21 The sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites. 22 These are the families of Judah according to those who were counted of them, seventy-six thousand five hundred. 23 The sons of Issachar after their families: of Tola, the family of the Tolaites; of Puvah, the family of the Punites; 24 of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites. 25 These are the families of Issachar according to those who were counted of them, sixty-four thousand three hundred. 26 The sons of Zebulun after their families: of Sered, the family of the Seredites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites. 27 These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those who were counted of them, sixty thousand five hundred. 28 The sons of Joseph after their families: Manasseh and Ephraim. 29 The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir became the father of Gilead; of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites. 30 These are the sons of Gilead: of Iezer, the family of the Iezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites; 31 and Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; and Shechem, the family of the Shechemites; 32 and Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and Hepher, the family of the Hepherites. 33 Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. 34 These are the families of Manasseh. Those who were counted of them were fifty-two thousand seven hundred. 35 These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthelahites; of Becher, the family of the Becherites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites. 36 These are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites. 37 These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those who were counted of them, thirty-two thousand five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families. 38 The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites; 39 of Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites. 40 The sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: the family of the Ardites; and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites. 41 These are the sons of Benjamin after their families; and those who were counted of them were forty-five thousand six hundred. 42 These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families. 43 All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those who were counted of them, were sixty-four thousand four hundred. 44 The sons of Asher after their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Berites. 45 Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites. 46 The name of the daughter of Asher was Serah. 47 These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those who were counted of them, fifty-three thousand four hundred. 48 The sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites; 49 of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites. 50 These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were counted of them were forty-five thousand four hundred. 51 These are those who were counted of the children of Israel, six hundred one thousand seven hundred thirty.
52 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 53 "To these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names. 54 To the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance. To everyone according to those who were counted of him shall his inheritance be given. 55 Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot. According to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit. 56 According to the lot shall their inheritance be divided between the more and the fewer."
57 These are those who were counted of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites. 58 These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, and the family of the Korahites. Kohath became the father of Amram. 59 The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt. She bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister. 60 To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 61 Nadab and Abihu died when they offered strange fire before Yahweh. 62 Those who were counted of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward; for they were not counted among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel. 63 These are those who were counted by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who counted the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho. 64 But among these there was not a man of them who were counted by Moses and Aaron the priest, who counted the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai. 65 For Yahweh had said of them, "They shall surely die in the wilderness." There was not a man left of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

10 地开了口， 把他们和可拉吞了下去； 可拉与他的同党都死了， 那时有火吞灭了二百五十个人， 他们成了警戒。
11 但是， 可拉的子孙却没有死亡。
12 西缅子孙， 按着家族， 属尼母利的， 有尼母利家族； 属雅悯的， 有雅悯家族； 属雅斤的， 有雅斤家族；
13 属谢拉的， 有谢拉家族； 属扫罗的， 有扫罗家族。
14 这些就是西缅的各家族， 共有二万二千二百人。
15 迦得子孙， 按着家族， 属洗分的， 有洗分家族； 属哈基的， 有哈基家族； 属书尼的， 有书尼家族；
16 属阿斯尼的， 有阿斯尼家族； 属以利的， 有以利家族；
17 属亚律的， 有亚律家族； 属亚列利的， 有亚列利家族。
18 这些就是迦得子孙的各家族， 按着他们各家族被数点的， 共有四万零五百人。
19 犹大的儿子是珥和俄南； 这珥和俄南都死在迦南地。
20 犹大子孙， 按着家族， 属示拉的， 有示拉家族； 属谢拉的， 有谢拉家族。
21 法勒斯的子孙， 属希斯仑的， 有希斯仑家族； 属哈母勒的， 有哈母勒家族。
22 这些就是犹大的各家族， 按着他们各家族被数点的， 共有七万六千五百人。
23 以萨迦的子孙， 按着家族， 属陀拉的， 有陀拉家族； 属普瓦的， 有普瓦家族；
24 属雅述的， 有雅述家族； 属伸仑的， 有伸仑家族。
25 这些就是以萨迦的各家族， 按着他们各家族被数点的， 共有六万四千三百人。
26 西布伦的子孙， 按着家族， 属西烈的， 有西烈家族； 属以伦的， 有以伦家族； 属雅利的， 有雅利家族。
27 这些就是西布伦的各家族， 按着他们各家族被数点的， 共有六万零五百人。
28 约瑟的儿子， 按着家族， 有玛拿西和以法莲。
29 玛拿西的子孙， 属玛吉的， 有玛吉家族； 玛吉生基列； 属基列的， 有基列家族。
30 以下就是基列的子孙： 属伊以谢的， 有伊以谢家族； 属希勒的， 有希勒家族；
31 属亚斯列的， 有亚斯列家族； 属示剑的， 有示剑家族；
32 属示米大的， 有示米大家族； 属希弗的， 有希弗家族。
33 希弗的儿子西罗非哈没有儿子， 只有女儿； 西罗非哈的女儿名叫玛拉、挪阿、曷拉、密迦、得撒。
34 这些就是玛拿西的各家族， 他们被数点的， 共有五万二千七百人。
35 以下就是以法莲的子孙： 按着家族， 属书提拉的， 有书提拉家族； 属比结的， 有比结家族； 属他罕的， 有他罕家族。
36 书提拉的子孙， 属以兰的， 有以兰家族。
37 这些就是以法莲子孙的各家族， 按着他们各家族被数点的， 共有三万二千五百人。按着他们的家族， 这些都是约瑟的子孙。
38 便雅悯的子孙， 按着家族， 属比拉的， 有比拉家族； 属亚实别的， 有亚实别家族； 属亚希兰的， 有亚希兰家族；
39 属书反的， 有书反家族； 属户反的， 有户反家族。
40 比拉的众子是亚勒、乃幔； 属亚勒的， 有亚勒家族； 属乃幔的， 有乃幔家族。
41 这些就是便雅悯的子孙， 按着他们的家族， 他们被数点的， 共有四万五千六百人。
42 以下是但的子孙： 按着家族， 属书含的， 有书含家族； 按着家族， 这些就是但的各家族。
43 书含所有的家族， 被数点的， 共有六万四千四百人。
44 亚设的子孙， 按着他们的家族， 属音拿的， 有音拿家族； 属亦施苇的， 有亦施苇家族； 属比利亚的， 有比利亚家族。
45 比利亚的子孙， 属希别的， 有希别家族； 属玛结的， 有玛结家族。
46 亚设的女儿名叫西拉。
47 这些就是亚设子孙的各家族， 按着他们各家族被数点的， 共有五万三千四百人。
48 拿弗他利的子孙， 按着家族， 属雅薛的， 有雅薛家族； 属沽尼的， 有沽尼家族；
49 属耶色的， 有耶色家族； 属示冷的， 有示冷家族。
50 这些就是拿弗他利的各家族， 按着他们各家族被数点的， 共有四万五千四百人。
51 以上就是以色列人被数点的， 共有六十万零一千七百三十人。
52 耶和华对摩西说：
53 "你要按着人名数目把地分配给他们作产业。
54 人数多的， 你要把产业多分给他们； 人数少的， 你要把产业少分给他们； 要按着数点的人数， 把产业分给各人。
55 虽然这样， 地还是要借着抽签分配； 他们要按着自己父家支派的名字， 承受产业。
56 你要按着所抽的签， 照着人数的多少， 把产业分配给他们。"
57 以下是按着家族被数点的利未人： 属革顺的， 有革顺家族； 属哥辖的， 有哥辖家族； 属米拉利的， 有米拉利家族。
58 这些就是利未的各家族： 有立尼家族、希伯伦家族、玛利家族、母示家族、可拉家族。哥辖生暗兰。
59 暗兰的妻子， 名叫约基别， 是利未的女儿， 是利未在埃及所生的； 她给暗兰生了亚伦、摩西和他们的姊姊米利暗。
60 亚伦生拿答、亚比户、以利亚撒、以他玛。
61 拿答和亚比户在耶和华面前献凡火的时候， 死了。
62 利未人中， 从一个月以上被数点的所有男丁， 共有二万三千人。在以色列人中没有数点他们， 因为在以色列人中， 没有把产业分给他们。
63 以上的人就是被摩西和以利亚撒祭司数点的； 他们是在摩押平原， 耶利哥对面约旦河边数点以色列人的。
64 这些人中间， 没有一个是摩西和亚伦祭司从前在西奈旷野数点以色列人的时候， 数点过的。
65 因为耶和华论到他们曾经说过： "他们必死在旷野。"所以除了耶孚尼的儿子迦勒和嫩的儿子约书亚以外， 连一个也没有剩下。
