14 Yet you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapour that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 For you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that."
6 Whatever the LORD pleased, that he has done,
in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps.
17 He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
19 God is not a man, that he should lie,
nor a son of man, that he should repent.
Has he said, and he won’t do it?
Or has he spoken, and he won’t make it good?
2 "I know that you can do all things,
and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
27 "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?
11 so is my word that goes out of my mouth:
it will not return to me void,
but it will accomplish that which I please,
and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.
23 The LORD said to Moses, "Has the LORD’s hand grown short? Now you will see whether my word will happen to you or not."
4 The LORD has made everything for its own end—
yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.
8 Behold, it comes, and it will be done," says the Lord GOD. "This is the day about which I have spoken.
1 The plans of the heart belong to man,
but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.
