4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.
26 But the Counsellor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
5 Out of my distress, I called on the LORD.
The LORD answered me with freedom.
16 They will never be hungry or thirsty any more. The sun won’t beat on them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them and leads them to springs of life-giving waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the Counsellor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
18 I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.
26 "When the Counsellor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
16 I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counsellor, that he may be with you forever:
19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me,
your comforts delight my soul.
5 Now the God of perseverance and of encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus,
12 "I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die,
and of the son of man who will be made as grass?
