28 Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
13 But we don’t want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don’t grieve like the rest, who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.
2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.
The light has shined on those who lived in the land of the shadow of death.
11 This saying is trustworthy:
"For if we died with him,
we will also live with him.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
17 but you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die."
2 He enters into peace.
They rest in their beds,
each one who walks in his uprightness.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.
14 "Behold, today I am going the way of all the earth. You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spoke concerning you. All have happened to you. Not one thing has failed of it.
32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies," says the Lord GOD. "Therefore turn yourselves, and live!
21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
48 What man is he who shall live and not see death,
who shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.
3 I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, God’s dwelling is with people; and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away."
7 Where could I go from your Spirit?
Or where could I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, you are there.
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there!
55 "Death, where is your sting?
Hades, where is your victory?"
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. 8 But God commends his own love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, 17 then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.
23 But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. 24 Yet to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. 26 Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
8 For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
46 Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" Having said this, he breathed his last.
15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin. The sin, when it is full grown, produces death.

Jealousy is as cruel as Sheol.
Its flashes are flashes of fire,

26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
27 Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgement,
