4 I adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem,
that you not stir up, nor awaken love,
until it so desires.
9 But if they don’t have self-control, let them marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn with passion.
3 Do two walk together,
unless they have agreed?
14 House and riches are an inheritance from fathers,
but a prudent wife is from the LORD.
18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him."
14 Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? 15 What agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what portion does a believer have with an unbeliever?
18 Flee sexual immorality! "Every sin that a man does is outside the body," but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
for out of it is the wellspring of life.
13 "Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods," but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
33 Don’t be deceived! "Evil companionships corrupt good morals."
14 Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
4 Let marriage be held in honour amongst all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
