18 The LORD is near to all those who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.
19 He will fulfil the desire of those who fear him.
He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord, 12 rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer,
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
28 Haven’t you known?
Haven’t you heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD,
the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint.
He isn’t weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak.
He increases the strength of him who has no might.
30 Even the youths faint and get weary,
and the young men utterly fall;
31 but those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength.
They will mount up with wings like eagles.
They will run, and not be weary.
They will walk, and not faint.
16 Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory, 18 while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
19 For the people will dwell in Zion at Jerusalem. You will weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the voice of your cry. When he hears you, he will answer you.
12 For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet,
and a light for my path.
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word.
12 rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer,
1 God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
26 Looking at them, Jesus said, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
33 I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
66 At this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him. 67 Jesus said therefore to the twelve, "You don’t also want to go away, do you?"
68 Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
12 I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learnt the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
18 I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.
17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
9 Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.
28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
28 "Come to me, all you who labour and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
12 Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love him.
37 For nothing spoken by God is impossible."
1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. 3 I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, God’s dwelling is with people; and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away."
22 Cast your burden on the LORD and he will sustain you.
He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 17 that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
13 Hold the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 14 That good thing which was committed to you, guard through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
7 But you be strong! Don’t let your hands be slack, for your work will be rewarded."
17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
35 Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.
7 The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
11 I am coming quickly! Hold firmly that which you have, so that no one takes your crown.
5 Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.
6 He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing,
will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.
1 But now the LORD who created you, Jacob,
and he who formed you, Israel, says:
"Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you.
I have called you by your name.
You are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you,
and through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burnt,
and flame will not scorch you.
3 For I am the LORD your God,
the Holy One of Israel,
your Saviour.
I have given Egypt as your ransom,
Ethiopia and Seba in your place.
14 This is the boldness which we have towards him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 15 And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
23 let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
24 Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
7 "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. 8 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
6 being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
24 Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who hope in the LORD.
6 Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
19 Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."
9 The LORD will also be a high tower for the oppressed;
a high tower in times of trouble.
10 Those who know your name will put their trust in you,
for you, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.
12 Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus."
