A Palavra de Deus

51 Most certainly, I tell you, if a person keeps my word, he will never see death."

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

3 He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the LORD’s mouth.

35 You have also given me the shield of your salvation.

Your right hand sustains me.

Your gentleness has made me great.

36 You have enlarged my steps under me,

My feet have not slipped.

3 God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

18 But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.

89 LORD, your word is settled in heaven forever.

11 I have hidden your word in my heart,

that I might not sin against you.

16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,

8 This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.

1 A gentle answer turns away wrath,

but a harsh word stirs up anger.

3 You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

3 His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,

12 For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

28 But he said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it."

22 But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.

22 But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

20 A man’s stomach is filled with the fruit of his mouth.

With the harvest of his lips he is satisfied.

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue;

those who love it will eat its fruit.

130 The entrance of your words gives light.

It gives understanding to the simple.

14 The Word became flesh and lived amongst us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 17 that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

22 When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

4 But he answered, "It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.’"

4 Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’"

24 "Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.

38 He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water."

17 Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.

1 If therefore there is any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion, 2 make my joy full by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind; 3 doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; 4 each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.

5 Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without complaining and arguing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, amongst whom you are seen as lights in the world, 16 holding up the word of life, that I may have something to boast in the day of Christ that I didn’t run in vain nor labour in vain. 17 Yes, and if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. 18 In the same way, you also should be glad and rejoice with me.

19 But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered up when I know how you are doing. 20 For I have no one else like-minded, who will truly care about you. 21 For they all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ. 22 But you know that he has proved himself. As a child serves a father, so he served with me in furtherance of the Good News. 23 Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it will go with me. 24 But I trust in the Lord that I myself also will come shortly.

25 But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, and your apostle and servant of my need, 26 since he longed for you all, and was very troubled because you had heard that he was sick. 27 For indeed he was sick nearly to death, but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow on sorrow. 28 I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that when you see him again, you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful. 29 Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy, and hold such people in honour, 30 because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service towards me.

18 There is one who speaks rashly like the piercing of a sword,

but the tongue of the wise heals.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.

41 Many more believed because of his word.

9 How can a young man keep his way pure?

By living according to your word.

2 as newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow,

9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.

25 Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down,

but a kind word makes it glad.

21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet,

and a light for my path.

36 Amazement came on all and they spoke together, one with another, saying, "What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!"

22 But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.

11 The mouth of the righteous is a spring of life,

but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

5 "Every word of God is flawless.

He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

31 Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, "If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.

24 "Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgement, but has passed out of death into life.

36 I tell you that every idle word that men speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgement. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

23 Jesus answered him, "If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

30 As for God, his way is perfect.

The LORD’s word is tried.

He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.

3 Indeed, we put bits into the horses’ mouths so that they may obey us, and we guide their whole body. 4 Behold, the ships also, though they are so big and are driven by fierce winds, are yet guided by a very small rudder, wherever the pilot desires. 5 So the tongue is also a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can spread to a large forest! 6 And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity amongst our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna. 7 For every kind of animal, bird, creeping thing, and sea creature is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind; 8 but nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet,

and a light for my path.

4 For the LORD’s word is right.

All his work is done in faithfulness.

6 For the LORD gives wisdom.

Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 17 that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

4 But he answered, "It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.’"

34 You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

12 For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

14 The Word became flesh and lived amongst us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

4 For the LORD’s word is right.

All his work is done in faithfulness.

3 By faith we understand that the universe has been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen has not been made out of things which are visible.

16 Your words were found,

and I ate them.

Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart,

for I am called by your name, the LORD, God of Armies.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

4 In God, I praise his word.

In God, I put my trust.

I will not be afraid.

What can flesh do to me?

8 The grass withers,

the flower fades;

but the word of our God stands forever."

6 For the LORD gives wisdom.

Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

6 By the LORD’s word, the heavens were made:

all their army by the breath of his mouth.

31 Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, "If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. 32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

160 All of your words are truth.

Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever.

12 Who is someone who desires life,

and loves many days, that he may see good?

13 Keep your tongue from evil,

and your lips from speaking lies.

29 "Isn’t my word like fire?" says the LORD; "and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
