21 But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; 22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,
19 So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God, 20 being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;
14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
12 Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
1 Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.
22 Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with child,
and shall give birth to a son.
They shall call his name Immanuel,"
which is, being interpreted, "God with us."
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
9 Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion!
Shout, daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King comes to you!
He is righteous, and having salvation;
lowly, and riding on a donkey,
even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.
7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing,
unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.
21 Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.
15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.
