14 He said, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
11 For I know the thoughts that I think towards you," says the LORD, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. 12 You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You shall seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.
25 The LORD is good to those who wait for him,
to the soul who seeks him.
26 It is good that a man should hope
and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him.
Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way,
because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.
12 For this cause I also suffer these things.
Yet I am not ashamed, for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed to him against that day.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
4 Stand in awe, and don’t sin.
Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people.
Pour out your heart before him.
God is a refuge for us. Selah.
28 "Come to me, all you who labour and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
7 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
and whose confidence is in the LORD.
8 For he will be as a tree planted by the waters,
who spreads out its roots by the river,
and will not fear when heat comes,
but its leaf will be green,
and will not be concerned in the year of drought.
It won’t cease from yielding fruit.
31 but those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength.
They will mount up with wings like eagles.
They will run, and not be weary.
They will walk, and not faint.
10 "Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted amongst the nations.
I will be exalted in the earth."
1 I waited patiently for the LORD.
He turned to me, and heard my cry.
17 The work of righteousness will be peace,
and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.
27 As they were going down at the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, "Tell the servant to go on ahead of us." He went ahead, then Samuel said, "But stand still first, that I may cause you to hear God’s message."
14 Wait for the LORD.
Be strong, and let your heart take courage.
Yes, wait for the LORD.
7 For he said to Judah, "Let’s build these cities and make walls around them, with towers, gates, and bars. The land is yet before us, because we have sought the LORD our God. We have sought him, and he has given us rest on every side." So they built and prospered.
22 Cast your burden on the LORD and he will sustain you.
He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
15 For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, "You will be saved in returning and rest. Your strength will be in quietness and in confidence." You refused,
3 You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace,
because he trusts in you.
