Casa de Deus
44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of the testimony in the wilderness, as he had appointed who spake to Moses, to make it according to the model which he had seen:
45 Which also our fathers having received, brought in with Joshua into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drove out from the face of our fathers, till the days of David:
46 Who found favour with God, and petitioned to find an habitation for the God of Jacob.
47 But Solomon built him an house.
48 Yet the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands, as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth my footstool.
49 What house will ye build me, saith the Lord: or What is the place of my rest?
50 Hath not my hand made all these things? Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye always resist the Holy Ghost:
12 And Jesus went into the temple, and cast out all that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the mony-changers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
13 And saith to them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves.
13 For the passover of the Jews was nigh, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, And found in the temple them that fold oxen,
14 and sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting.
15 And having made a scourge of rushes, he drove all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers money,
16 and otherthrew the tables, And said to them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of traffick.
17 And his disciples remembered that it is written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
19 Know ye not, that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have from God?
15 But if I tarry, that thou mayst know how to behave in the house of God, which is the church of the living God.
6 But Christ as a Son over his own house, whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the glorying of hope, firm to the end.
