9 But ye are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a purchased people, that ye may shew forth the virtues of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Who in time past were not a people, but now are the people of God;
19 Having therefore, brethren, free liberty to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us through the veil,
21 that is, his flesh, And having an high-priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
20 I am crucified with Christ, and I live no longer, but Christ liveth in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
19 Therefore ye are no longer strangers, and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints and of the houshold of God,
20 Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone, On whom all the building fitly framed together,
21 groweth into an holy temple in the Lord:
22 On whom ye also are built together, for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
23 Jesus answered and said to him, If any man love me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.
4 Now every house is built by some one: but he that built all things is God.
5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of the things, which were to be afterwards spoken:
6 But Christ as a Son over his own house, whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the glorying of hope, firm to the end.
5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of the things, which were to be afterwards spoken:
6 But Christ as a Son over his own house, whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the glorying of hope, firm to the end.
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? Now ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.
16 Know ye not, that ye are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man destroy the temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
19 Know ye not, that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have from God?
20 And ye are not your own: For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God with your body and your spirit, which are God's.
