Fim do mundo
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
12 And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake, and the sun was black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon was as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig-tree casteth its untimely figs, when it is shaken by a mighty wind:
1 But of the times and seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write to you.
2 For ye yourselves know perfectly, that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 When they say, peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all children of the light and children of the day: we are not children of the night, nor of darkness.
7 But the heavens and the earth that are now, are by his word kept in store reserved unto fire, against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
36 Watch ye therefore and pray always, that ye may be counted worthy to escape all these things which will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all children of the light and children of the day: we are not children of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep as the others, but let us awake and keep awake.
7 For they that sleep, sleep in the night, and they that are drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us who are of the day keep awake, having put on the breast-plate of faith and love, and for an helmet the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath,
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, the elements shall melt with fervent heat, and the earth, and the works that are therein, shall be burnt up.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, the antient serpent, who is called the devil and satan, who deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out unto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light; and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and moon, and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea roaring and tossing:
26 Men fainting away for fear, and expectation of the things coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away: and there was no more sea.
2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride, adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God with men, and he will dwell with them; and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them and be their God.
4 And he shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall sorrow, or crying, or pain, be any more; because the former things are gone away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold I make all things new. And he saith to me, Write: these sayings are faithful and true.
32 But of that day and hour knoweth no one, no, not the angels that are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
11 Seeing then all these things are dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hastning the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
