44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you and persecute you:
10 Therefore I am well pleased in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
14 bless and curse not.
8 for your adversary the devil, walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour:
18 If the world hate you, ye know it hated me, before it hated you.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall affliction, or distress, or persecution, or hunger, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
29 Verily I say to you, there is none that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my sake and the gospel's,
30 But he shall receive an hundred fold now in this time, houses and brethren and sisters and mothers and children and lands with persecutions, and in the world to come eternal life.
10 Happy are they who are persecuted for righteousness sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
12 Yea and all that are resolved to live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.
22 Happy are ye when men shall hate you, and shall separate you from their company, and shall revile you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
7 And I fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
11 Happy are ye when men shall revile and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake.
