22 He that received the seed among the thorns, is he that heareth the word: and the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

15 let us hold fast our profession, For we have not an high-priest who cannot sympathize with our infirmities, but who was in all points tempted like as we are: yet without sin.

1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in any fault, ye who are spiritual restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unrighteous to the day of judgment to be punished.

2 Being forty days tempted by the devil. And in those days he ate nothing, and when they were ended he hungered.

13 Let no man when he is tempted say, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.

13 There hath no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above your ability, but will with the temptation make also a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing; but the flesh is weak.

3 But let patience have it's perfect work,

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

21 For from within, out of the heart of man proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, envy, evil speaking, pride, foolishness.

23 All these evils come from within, and defile the man.

12 Happy is the man that endureth temptation: for when he hath been proved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
