Vida

15 And he said to them, Take heed and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

13 Who is a wise and knowing man among you? Let him shew by a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

25 Ye cannot serve God and Mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take not thought for your life, what ye shall eat, nor for the body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the birds of the air: they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.

27 Are ye not much better than they? And which of you by taking thought can add to his age the smallest measure?

38 He that believeth on me, out of his belly (as the scripture hath said) shall flow rivers of living water.

10 For he that loveth life and desireth to see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips, that they speak no guile:

11 Let him turn from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.

20 I am crucified with Christ, and I live no longer, but Christ liveth in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

6 Jesus saith, I am the way; and the truth, and the life; no man cometh to the Father, but by me.

3 And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

11 And that ye study to be quiet and to do your own business, and to work with your hands, as we commanded you;

12 That ye may walk decently toward them that are without, and may want nothing.

35 He that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

2 And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight.)

20 I am crucified with Christ, and I live no longer, but Christ liveth in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

12 Happy is the man that endureth temptation: for when he hath been proved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance;

24 for ye serve the Lord Christ.

23 For death is the wages of sin; but eternal life is the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

25 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, tho' he die, yet shall he live;

26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me, shall not die for ever.

10 The thief cometh not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it abundantly.

34 And when he had called the people to him, with his disciples also, he said to them, Whosoever is willing to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me.

35 For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life, for my sake and the gospels, he shall save it.

36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

37 Or what shall a man give, in exchange for his soul?

38 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father, with the holy angels.

15 See then that ye walk circumspectly,

16 not as fools, but as wise men, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
