A Volta de Jesus
1 But of the times and seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write to you.
2 For ye yourselves know perfectly, that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 When they say, peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, neither the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were benore the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, till the day that Noah entered into the ark.
39 And knew not, till the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
9 And having spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up, and a cloud received him from their sight.
10 And while they were stedfastly looking up to heaven, as he went up,
11 behold two men, in white apparel, stood by them, Who also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing into heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, as ye have seen him going into heaven.
11 Seeing then all these things are dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hastning the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we look for new heavens and a new earth, according to his promise, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
20 He that testifieth these things saith, Yea, I come quickly. Amen: Come, Lord Jesus!
8 But, beloved, be not ye ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise (tho' some men count it slowness) but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, the elements shall melt with fervent heat, and the earth, and the works that are therein, shall be burnt up.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
17 Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we be ever with the Lord.
32 But of that day and hour knoweth no one, no, not the angels that are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's and that of the holy angels.
1 Now I beseech you, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 and our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind or terrified, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as from us, as if the day of the Lord were at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, unless the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God as God, declaring himself that he is God.
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in the heavens shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with power and great glory.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and gather together his elect, from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth, to the uttermost part of heaven.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions; if not, I would have told you.
3 I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, ye may be also.
12 Behold I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to render to every one as his work shall be.
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory.
32 And all nations shall be gathered before him, and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats.
33 And he will set the sheep on his right-hand, and the goats on the left.
42 Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord cometh.
43 But ye know this, that if the housholder had known, in what watch the thief would have come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broke open.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for at an hour ye think not, the Son of man cometh.
27 And as it is appointed for men once to die, and after this the judgment:
28 So Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, will appear the second time, without sin, to them that look for him, unto salvation.
11 And I saw the heaven opened, and behold a white horse, and he that sitteth on him, called Faithful and True: and in righteousness he judgeth and maketh war.
12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems, and he hath a name written, which none knoweth but himself.
13 And he is clothed in a vesture dipt in blood, and his name is called, The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in clean, fine linen.
15 And out of his mouth goeth forth a sharp two-edged sword, that with it he may smite the nations. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of kings, and Lord of lords.
