20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Yeshua the Messiah,
17 "Ah Lord GOD! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.
19 "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal;
9 When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
25 Whom do I have in heaven?
There is no one on earth whom I desire besides you.
14 But Yeshua said, "Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these."
6 It is he who builds his rooms in the heavens, and has founded his vault on the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the surface of the earth; the LORD is his name.
5 Be exalted, God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth.
1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.
7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. 8 But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.
18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
1 The heavens declare the glory of God.
The expanse shows his handiwork.
2 Day after day they pour out speech,
and night after night they display knowledge.
2 Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him; for we will see him just as he is. 3 Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
8 Our help is in the LORD’s name,
who made heaven and earth.
2 In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with God’s shofar. The dead in Messiah will rise first, 17 then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.
21 Yeshua said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me."
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
24 Can anyone hide himself in secret places
so that I can’t see him?" says the LORD.
"Don’t I fill heaven and earth?" says the LORD.
15 As he came out of his mother’s womb, naked shall he go again as he came, and shall take nothing for his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.
50 He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. 51 While he blessed them, he withdrew from them, and was carried up into heaven.
1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven:
