6 While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth. 7 She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.
14 "Glory to God in the highest,
on earth peace, good will toward men."
20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, just as it was told them.
11 For there is born to you today, in David’s city, a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord.
10 The angel said to them, "Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.
14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to David’s city, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David; 5 to enroll himself with Miriam, who was pledged to be married to him as wife, being pregnant.
20 But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Miriam as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
21 She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Yeshua, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins."
22 Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with child,
and shall give birth to a son.
They shall call his name Immanuel,"
which is, being interpreted, "God with us."
