1 "Arise, shine; for your light has come,
and the LORD’s glory has risen on you.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Messiah Yeshua for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
13 For you formed my inmost being.
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to you,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful.
My soul knows that very well.
16 Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.
9 In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing, 10 but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness.
8 The grass withers,
the flower fades;
but the word of our God stands forever."
7 You are all beautiful, my love.
There is no spot in you.
7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
27 God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.
25 Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
3 Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; 4 but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain;
but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
