Ascensão
2 In my Father's house there are many resting-places. Were it otherwise, I would have told you; for I am going to make ready a place for you.
9 When He had said this, and while they were looking at Him, He was carried up, and a cloud closing beneath Him hid Him from their sight.
19 So the Lord Jesus after having thus spoken to them was taken up into Heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
12 In most solemn truth I tell you that he who trusts in me–the things which I do he shall do also; and greater things than these he shall do, because I am going to the Father.
28 I came from the Father and have come into the world. Again I am leaving the world and am going to the Father.«
10 But, while they stood intently gazing into the sky as He went, suddenly there were two men in white garments standing by them,
11 who said, »Galilaeans, why stand looking into the sky? This same Jesus who has been taken up from you into Heaven will come in just the same way as you have seen Him going into Heaven.«
50 And He brought them out to within view of Bethany, and then lifted up His hands and blessed them.
51 And while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into Heaven.
17 »Do not cling to me,« said Jesus, »for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But take this message to my brethren: I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'«
16 And, beyond controversy, great is the mystery of our religion– that Christ appeared in human form, and His claims justified by the Spirit, was seen by angels and proclaimed among Gentile nations, was believed on in the world, and received up again into glory.
33 So Jesus said, »Still for a short time I am with you, and then I go my way to Him who sent me.
