51 I am the living bread come down out of Heaven. If a man eats this bread, he shall live for ever. Moreover the bread which I will give is my flesh given for the life of the world.«
26 During the meal Jesus took a Passover biscuit, blessed it and broke it. He then gave it to the disciples, saying, »Take this and eat it: it is my body.«
27 And He took the cup and gave thanks, and gave it to them saying, »Drink from it, all of you;
28 for this is my blood which is to be poured out for many for the remission of sins–the blood which ratifies the Covenant.
19 Then, taking a Passover biscuit, He gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, »This is my body which is being given on your behalf: this do in remembrance of me.«
20 He gave them the cup in like manner, when the meal was over. »This cup,« He said, »is the new Covenant ratified by my blood which is to be poured out on your behalf.
53 »In most solemn truth I tell you,« said Jesus, »that unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no Life in you.
54 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has the Life of the Ages, and I will raise him up on the last day.
55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.
56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in union with me, and I remain in union with him.
57 As the ever-living Father has sent me, and I live because of the Father, so also he who eats me will live because of me.
58 This is the bread which came down out of Heaven; it is unlike that which your forefathers ate–for they ate and yet died. He who eats this bread shall live for ever.«
42 and they were constant in listening to the teaching of the Apostles and in their attendance at the Communion, that is, the Breaking of the Bread, and at prayer.
7 On the first day of the week, when we had met to break bread, Paul, who was going away the next morning, was preaching to them, and prolonged his discourse till midnight.
30 But as soon as He had sat down with them, and had taken the bread and had blessed and broken it, and was handing it to them,
27 Whoever, therefore, in an unworthy manner, eats the bread or drinks from the cup of the Lord sins against the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and, having done that, then let him eat the bread and drink from the cup.
29 For any one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgement to himself, if he fails to estimate the body aright.
22 Also during the meal He took a Passover biscuit, blessed it, and broke it. He then gave it to them, saying, »Take this, it is my body.«
23 Then He took the cup, gave thanks, and handed it to them, and they all of them drank from it.
24 »This is my blood,« He said, »which is to be poured out on behalf of many–the blood which makes the Covenant sure.
25 I solemnly tell you that never again will I taste the produce of the vine till I shall drink the new wine in the Kingdom of God.«
26 For every time that you eat this bread and drink from the cup, you are proclaiming the Lord's death–until He returns.
24 and after giving thanks He broke it and said, »This is my body which is about to be broken for you. Do this in memory of me.«
25 In the same way, when the meal was over, He also took the cup. »This cup,« He said, »is the new Covenant of which my blood is the pledge. Do this, every time that you drink it, in memory of me.«
26 For every time that you eat this bread and drink from the cup, you are proclaiming the Lord's death–until He returns.
27 Whoever, therefore, in an unworthy manner, eats the bread or drinks from the cup of the Lord sins against the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and, having done that, then let him eat the bread and drink from the cup.
