18 And Jehovah God said, It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper to complement him.
9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his companion; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he does not have another to help him up.
11 Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone?
12 And if one overpowers him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
2 Shulamite: Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth; for your love is better than wine.
3 Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, your name is ointment poured forth; therefore the virgins love you.
14 And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.
22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Jehovah.
28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.
6 Shulamite to Her Beloved: Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is as strong as death, jealousy as cruel as Sheol; its flames are flames of fire, a flame of YAH.
7 Many waters cannot quench love, nor can the rivers overflow it. If a man would give for love all the wealth of his house, it would be despised with contempt.
15 The Beloved: Behold, you are beautiful, my love! Behold, you are beautiful; with doves eyes!
16 Shulamite: Behold, you are handsome, my beloved! Yes, pleasant! Also our bed is green.
5 When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war nor leave for any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring gladness to his wife whom he has taken.
9 You have ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; you have ravished my heart with one look of your eyes, with the pendant around your neck.
22 And the rib which Jehovah God had taken out of the man He rebuilt into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
23 And the man said: This now at last is bone from my bones and flesh from my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man.
24 Therefore a man, leaving his father and mother, and having cleaved to his wife, they are one flesh.
6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has yoked together, let not man separate.
15 And has He not made them one? Yet the remnant of the Spirit is in him. And why one? He was seeking a seed of God. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and do not deal treacherously with the wife of your youth.
33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she reverence her husband.
18 Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth,
19 as a loving deer and a graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times, and always be intoxicated in her love.
20 For why, my son, will you be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a foreigner?
4 Love is longsuffering and is kind; love does not envy; love does not boast itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave indecently, does not seek its own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
