9 But you are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of His possession, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
3 When I look at Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have established;
4 what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?
5 For You have made him lacking a little from God, and have crowned him with glory and honor.
14 I will give thanks unto You, for I am awesomely and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O Mighty God! How great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more numerous than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You.
7 But Jehovah said to Samuel, Do not look at his appearance nor at the height of his stature, because I have refused him. For man does not see as He sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but Jehovah looks at the heart.
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to understand with a sound mind, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God.
7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
7 He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap,
8 that He may seat him with nobles; with the nobles of His people.
