16 And Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, Surely Jehovah is in this place, and I did not realize it.
17 And he was afraid and said, How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of Heaven!
4 Blessed is the one whom You choose, and cause to draw near You. He shall dwell in Your courts; we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple.
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.
13 And He said to them, It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.
13 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers sitting.
15 And when He had made a whip out of rope, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers money and overturned the tables.
16 And He said to those who sold doves, Take these things away from here! Do not make My Fathers house a house of merchandise!
17 And His disciples remembered that it was written, Zeal for Your house has consumed Me.
4 One thing I have desired from Jehovah, that I will seek after: That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of Jehovah, and to inquire in His temple.
44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of testimony in the wilderness, as He appointed, instructing Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen,
45 which our fathers, having received it in turn, also brought with Joshua into the land possessed by the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of David,
46 who found favor before God and asked to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
47 But Solomon built Him a house.
48 However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says:
49 Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the Lord, or what is the place of My rest?
50 Has My hand not made all these things?
8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.
15 but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.
9 For the zeal of Your house has eaten Me up; and the reproaches of those who reproached You have fallen upon Me.
1 Thus says Jehovah, Heaven is My throne, and earth My footstool. Where, then, is the house that you would build for Me? And where is the place of My rest?
2 For all those My hand has made, and all those exist, says Jehovah. But to this one will I have regard: To the lowly and contrite of spirit, and the one who trembles at My Word.
1 I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of Jehovah.
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah forever.
6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
