26 My flesh and my heart waste away; but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.
10 Therefore remove vexation from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh; for childhood and black hair of youth are vanity.
12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: The making of many books has no end, and much study is a weariness to the flesh.
2 Nevertheless, because of sexual perversion, let each have his own wife, and let each have her own husband.
3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.
4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
14 I will give thanks unto You, for I am awesomely and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
5 As you do not know what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones grow in the womb of a pregnant woman; even so you do not know the works of God who makes everything.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
7 And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual perversion but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
20 For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods.
4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,
5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles, who do not know God;
28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.
30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.
1 You are the children of Jehovah your God; you shall not cut yourselves nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
2 For you are a holy people unto Jehovah your God, and Jehovah has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
25 Therefore I say to you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
14 For also the body is not one member but many.
15 If the foot should say, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear should say, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?
18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He intended.
19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be?
20 But now indeed there are many members, but yet one body.
21 And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
22 And the rib which Jehovah God had taken out of the man He rebuilt into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
23 And the man said: This now at last is bone from my bones and flesh from my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man.
18 Flee sexual perversion. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
29 And if your right eye snares you into sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, and not your whole body be cast into Gehenna.
30 And if your right hand snares you into sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, and not your whole body be cast into Gehenna.
