22 A merry heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.
3 He is despised and rejected by men; a Man of pain, and knowing infirmity; a hiding of faces; being despised, we have esteemed Him not.
4 Truly He has borne our sicknesses, and carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.
36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.
37 Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?
38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?
39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?
40 And the King will answer and say to them, Truly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.
16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed everyone who was sick,
17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.
26 and said: If you diligently heed the voice of Jehovah your God and do what is right in His eyes, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought upon the Egyptians. For I am Jehovah who heals you.
17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
4 Truly He has borne our sicknesses, and carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
14 The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a stricken spirit?
25 And you shall serve Jehovah your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
7 And so that I should not be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan that he might buffet me, that I should not be made haughty.
8 Concerning this thing I entreated the Lord three times that it might depart from me.
9 And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather exult in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christs sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he may have committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
12 Hope postponed makes the heart sick, but when desire comes to pass it is a tree of life.
1 Blessed is he who gives attention to the poor; Jehovah will deliver him in the time of evil.
2 Jehovah will watch over him and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed on the earth; and You will not deliver him to the soul of his enemies.
3 Jehovah will sustain him on the bed of illness; You will change his bed of sickness.
14 Heal me, O Jehovah, and I shall be healed, save me, and I shall be saved; for You are my praise.
3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
3 When I kept silent, my bones wore out through my roaring all day long.
8 Jehovah opens the eyes of the blind; Jehovah raises those who are bowed down; Jehovah loves the righteous.
13 You know that because of physical infirmity I preached the gospel to you at the first.
14 And my trial which was in my flesh you did not despise or reject, but you received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
