9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.
22 Bless Jehovah, all His works, in all places of His dominion. Bless Jehovah, O my soul!
8 So then, those who are in the flesh are not able to please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are experienced by your brethren in the world.
13 Your kingdom is an eternal kingdom, and Your dominion is from generation to generation.
20 For our citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subject all things to Himself.
13 I saw in the night visions. And behold, one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days. And they brought Him near before Him.
14 And dominion was given to Him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
25 And everyone who competes for the prize controls himself in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we an imperishable.
26 Therefore I run in this manner: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.
27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith,
23 meekness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
19 In the abundance of words there is no end of transgression, but he who restrains his lips is prudent.
7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be of sound mind and calm in your prayers.
11 A fool vents all his emotions; but a wise one keeps still until afterwards.
7 For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
2 It seemed good for me to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has done with me.
3 How great are His signs! And how mighty are His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation.
4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,
5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles, who do not know God;
28 He who has no rule over his own spirit is like a broken down city without walls.
9 but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to be on fire.
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live with sound mind, righteously, and godly in the present age,
13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, supply with your faith virtue, with virtue knowledge,
6 with knowledge self-control, with self-control perseverance, with perseverance godliness,
7 with godliness brotherly affection, and with brotherly affection love.
6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Strong and Mighty God, The Eternal Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace upon the throne of David there will be no end; and upon His kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on, even forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will accomplish this.
2 Dominion and fear belong to Him; He makes peace in His high places.
13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also provide a way out, that you may be able to bear it.
32 He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
13 who has delivered us from the authority of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins.
22 For as in Adam everyone dies, even so in Christ everyone shall be made alive.
23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christs at His coming.
24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God, even the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.
25 For it is necessary for Him to reign till He has put every enemy under His feet.
1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has been released from sin,
2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh in the lusts of men, but in the will of God.
3 For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in licentiousness, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.
4 In this regard, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same overflow of dissipation, blaspheming.
5 They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,
21 far above all rule and authority and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
