12 But above all things, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your Yes, be Yes, and your No, No, so that you do not fall under condemnation.
7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
13 He who covers his sins shall not prosper; but he who confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.
3 The integrity of the upright guides them, but the perversity of traitors shall destroy them.
16 No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man is mighty.
2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.
2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the Word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every mans conscience before God.
15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
7 Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret over him who prospers in his way, because of him who works out wicked devices.
18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his practices,
13 The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips, but the just shall come out of trouble.
17 He who utters truth declares righteousness, but a false witness, deceit.
8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenue without justice.
21 providing honorable things, not only before the Lord, but also before men.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are Gods ministers attending continually to this very thing.
28 A perverse man sows strife, and a whisperer separates intimate friends.
3 With Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice is to be chosen over sacrifice.
27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
9 Then you shall understand righteousness and justice and equity and every good path.
1 A deceitful scale is an abomination to Jehovah, but a perfect weight stone is His delight.
3 The integrity of the upright guides them, but the perversity of traitors shall destroy them.
5 A good man deals graciously and lends; he will guide his affairs with justice.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, fair, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, and let your eyelids look straight before you.
