Jovens
1 The Proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:
2 To know wisdom and instruction; to discern the words of understanding;
3 to receive instruction in wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
4 to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young man.
11 Even a child is known by his deeds, whether his work is pure and right.
5 For You are my hope, O Lord Jehovah, my trust from my youth.
30 Even the young shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall be feeble and stumble;
31 but those who wait upon Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
6 Likewise exhort the young men to be of sound mind,
7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may take heed to do according to all the Law which Moses My servant has commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may take heed to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for Jehovah your God is with you wherever you go.
10 Therefore remove vexation from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh; for childhood and black hair of youth are vanity.
11 Your Word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
12 both young men and maidens; old men and children:
13 Let them praise the name of Jehovah, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens.
9 BETH: How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your Word.
13 Let us walk decently, as in the day, not in carousings and drunkenness, not in cohabitation and licentiousness, not in strife and envy.
17 As for these four boys, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom. And Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
18 And at the end of the days that the king had said that they should be brought in, the chief of the officials brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.
19 And the king talked with them. And among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So they served before the king.
12 Let no one despise your youth, but become an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
13 A poor and wise youth is better than an old and foolish king, who will not be admonished any more.
1 Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, so that the evil days do not come, nor the years draw near, when you shall say, I have no pleasure in them.
1 Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, so that the evil days do not come, nor the years draw near, when you shall say, I have no pleasure in them.
2 While the sun and the light and the moon and the stars are not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain;
3 in the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men bow down, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those who look out of the windows are darkened,
19 Hear, my son, and be wise, and guide your heart in the way.
20 Do not be among those who are heavy drinkers of wine, or among gluttons for flesh;
21 for the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty, and slumber shall clothe a man with rags.
22 Listen to your father who begot you, and do not despise your mother when she is old.
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
29 And also I will pour out My Spirit on the menservants and on the maidservants in those days.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise:
3 that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.
5 Likewise you that are younger, be subject to your elders. Yes, all of you be subject to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
9 Rejoice in your youth, young man; and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these things, God will bring you into judgment.
29 The glory of young men is their strength; and the honor of old men is the gray head.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the Word of God abides in you, and you have overcome evil.
27 It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
6 Then I said, Alas, Lord Jehovah! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am a youth.
7 But Jehovah said to me, Do not say, I am a youth; for you shall go to all to whom I shall send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak.
8 Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you, says Jehovah.
11 For I know the thoughts which I am planning for you, says Jehovah; thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
12 Then you shall call on Me, and you shall go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
13 And you shall seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found by you, says Jehovah; and I will bring you back from your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, says Jehovah. And I will bring you back into the place from where I caused you to be taken captive.
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise:
