9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his companion; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he does not have another to help him up.
11 Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone?
12 And if one overpowers him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
4 A woman of strength is a crown to her husband, but she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
1 Wives, likewise, be subject to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the Word, they, without a word, may be won by the behavior of their wives,
2 when they observe your pure behavior with fear.
7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be cut off.
10 Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to leave her husband.
11 But, indeed, in case she does leave, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to send away his wife.
15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let them leave; a brother or sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us in peace.
16 For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?
1 Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 Nevertheless, because of sexual perversion, let each have his own wife, and let each have her own husband.
3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.
4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
5 Do not deprive one another except by agreement for a time, that you may be free for fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she reverence her husband.
18 And Jehovah God said, It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper to complement him.
10 Who can find a woman of strength? For her value is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband trusts safely in her, so that he shall have no lack of gain.
24 Therefore a man, leaving his father and mother, and having cleaved to his wife, they are one flesh.
18 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter towards them.
14 Houses and riches are the inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Jehovah.
5 When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war nor leave for any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring gladness to his wife whom he has taken.
2 For the woman who has a husband is bound by the Law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband.
15 And has He not made them one? Yet the remnant of the Spirit is in him. And why one? He was seeking a seed of God. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and do not deal treacherously with the wife of your youth.
18 Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth,
19 as a loving deer and a graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times, and always be intoxicated in her love.
22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Jehovah.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word,
27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.
4 And He answered and said to them, Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning made them male and female,
5 and said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?
6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has yoked together, let not man separate.
